Valor Investigations received a case of an Aggravated Assault w/ deadly weapon out of Harris County Texas. Our client was desperate to prove this case was that of a self defense nature. Lead by Investigator Betty Simons the team discovered several key facts that were not mentioned in the district attorneys discovery. After exhaustive efforts Valor was able to locate key witnesses and conduct interviews, remake the alleged crime scene, and uncovered a multitude of facts that told the story of what led up to the shooting.
Betty prepared an extensive investigative report that proved our client was clearly acting in self defense and per Texas law, had a right to defend himself in the manner that he did. After fighting his case for three long years, the investigative report prepared by our team and presented to the district attorney, led to an immediate dismissal of our clients charges.
With our help, he has since been able to retrieve his firearm from the state’s custody and regain his freedom and is currently doing well and enjoying his time with his family.
